Blues/pop singer-songwriter and guitarist, Martti Franca, has perfected the art of writing songs about unrequited love, and the story continues as he drops his next single Things She’ll Never Know during his launch on August 9, 2019 at Route 196, Quezon City.

Following the success of his hit singles, Alone and Spaces which have over 2 million streams on Spotify, Franca hopes that he can continue to give Filipinos and the International music scene another reason to cry and mull about their love lives. This cheerfully melodic single is an ode to the secret frustration yet unrelentless love for someone who isn’t theirs.

Franca explains the story behind the song: This is the first song I ever wrote about the biggest heartbreak I had in college. It’s about falling in love with someone who’s already with someone else. Naturally I couldn’t just shut down my feelings so I found myself doing acts of service for her whenever I could, such as taking her home often to make sure she was safe.

Big things await this independent artist as he embarks on entering the international music market. He recently gained acceptance and will be attending a songwriting retreat in California led by Judy Stakee, a former music publishing executive, and songwriting mentor responsible for artists such as Katy Perry, Sheryl Crow, and many more.

The single launch is a fundraising gig to help send Franca to California. The star-studded line-up for the event includes Battle Bloom, international independent rising stars hailing from Malaysia. Local favorites will also grace the spotlight, including independent folk band Munimuni, alternative-folk band The Ridleys, folk-pop singer and cellist Coeli, soulful singer-songwriter Elise Huang, and pop-acoustic newcomer Sary Valenzuela.

The single launch will be held at Route 196, Quezon City and the gig starts at 8PM. Tickets are at P350 for entrance and a drink, or you can get his complete merchandise package at P900. Early bird tickets are still available here:
